Financial Representative (Life & Health Insurance)
POSITION SUMMARY
To help individuals integrate their faith with their life and health insurance needs. Build meaningful client relationships through the Customer Engagement Center (CEC), which proactively reaches out to clients to discuss needs and assists in supporting incoming contacts.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide life and health insurance counsel through both outbound and inbound contacts.
- Generate new business and sales of products within the CEC and/or through referrals to regional markets.
- Build client trust by responding promptly and efficiently while providing accurate and thorough responses.
- Utilize CEC technology to initiate contact with the existing client base eligible for Medicare supplement, Part D, and prospects for long-term care and life insurance policies.
- Acquire and maintain working knowledge of all Everence and approved brokered insurance products and services.
- Provide after-sales service and annual reviews for sales and contact center life and health insurance clients.
- Record case details thoroughly and accurately in the Everence CRM system.
QUALIFICATIONS
License(s)
Have or be willing to attain appropriate licensing for respective products, including but not limited to Life & Health Licensure, Series 6 and 63 or 65 (Series 7 also appropriate)

- Strong desire to generate new business and build long-term relationships, while maintaining well-developed customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to hold oneself accountable, achieve results, and adapt well in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change
- Excellent phone demeanor, active listening skills, and ability to engage others with a strong desire to manage multiple, high-volume outbound/inbound calls daily
- Proven communication skills, including objective listening, verbal, and written skills
- Ability to explain complex insurance concepts through both verbal and written communication in a way that is easy to understand
