Back-End Web Developer

Design, develop, test, and implement server-side components and APIs that support web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and higher-performing systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Perform, design, develop, test, and implement tasks for fast-paced web projects with critical deadlines.
2. Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure alignment and foster continuous improvement.
3. Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code reliability and support maintainability.
4. Work with IT and outside consulting firm to accomplish web project goals.
5. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
6. Be able and willing to plan, organize, and control projects.
7. Focus on customer service to ensure solutions meet users' needs.
8. Develop an understanding of the Everence software systems and business functions.
9. Pioneer new ways of accomplishing tasks to reach project goals.
10. Develop secure and efficient server-side logic and services following industry best practices and internal security policies.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience

Experience: 

1. Four years of experience in programming languages, systems analysis, design, and project management
2. Three years of experience required in REST APIs, Web Services, Microsoft ASP.NET MVC and C#
3. Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS required. Experience in Java is a plus
4. SQL Server experience required
5. Experience with Azure DevOps and Entity Framework preferred
6. Experience with Sitecore CMS platform preferred
7. Experience in agile environment helpful
8. Two years of experience in a business environment
